Service Description
The Muyil archaeological site played a significant role connecting the Caribbean to the inland network through its system of canals and lagoons. Exploring Muyil takes a maximum of 40 minutes. Behind the main structure, "El Castillo," you'll discover a pathway cutting through the jungle leading to the entrance of the Sian Ka'an reserve. From the entrance, follow the boardwalk known as Sendero Canan Ha, which leads to the lagoon and boat docks. The boat tour traverses two stunning turquoise water lagoons and navigates through the mangrove channels. You'll be amazed by the rich diversity of flora and fauna and the breathtaking mangrove scenery. In the canals we will reach Xlapak, a small Mayan ruin nestled within the mangroves. Here, we'll disembark the boat and float along the water stream through the canals for approximately 40 minutes. Private transportations are for your group only, so you can decide which time goes better for you to start but we strongly recommend starting early in the morning between 7:00 am - 08:00am if you want to avoid the crowds.

Most of the attractions opening hours are from 8am to 5pm, therefore you plan the day accordingly.

BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY
Our prices are in usd dollars, Prices are valid departing from Playa del Carmen and surroundings areas. If your hotel is located north or south from PDC please let us know for a custom quote. Private transportations require a 30% deposit at the time of the booking; We will provide you with a confirmation voucher with specifics. For Transportation insurance purposes, we will require at the time of the booking the exact amount of people in the vehicle including children and infants. Please note that additional passengers cannot be accommodated without prior notice. Personal belongings are the client’s responsibility, make sure you have all your items when leaving the vehicle. Extra hour 45usd. Cancellations can be made by e-mail or WhatsApp 24hrs before the service date to receive a full refund of any deposit In most cases a refund will be issued within 72 hours. No refunds at last minute cancellations.
