Service Description
The Ría Lagartos Reserve is a vibrant ecosystem with unique flora and fauna. During the boat tour, we will navigate through the mangrove canals spanning about 20 km of the reserve, where a local guide will help us identify the different species of flora and fauna. Ria Lagartos is home to numerous bird species; beside the iconic flamingos, we may also watch herons, eagles, pelicans, among others, and with some luck we may even spot crocodiles. Along the tour, we will pass by ¨Las Coloradas," where we can see the salt extraction sites. Later, we can enjoy a rejuvenating Maya mud bath in white clay, known for its mineral properties, finally we will head to a beach on a nearby island, to clean off the clay and swim. Private transportations are for your group only, so you can decide which time goes better for you to start but we strongly recommend starting early in the morning between 7:00 am - 08:00am if you want to avoid the crowds.

Most of the attractions opening hours are from 8am to 5pm, therefore you plan the day accordingly.

BOOKING & CANCELLATION POLICY
Our prices are in usd dollars, Prices are valid departing from Playa del Carmen and surroundings areas. If your hotel is located north or south from PDC please let us know for a custom quote. Private transportations require a 30% deposit at the time of the booking; We will provide you with a confirmation voucher with specifics. For Transportation insurance purposes, we will require at the time of the booking the exact amount of people in the vehicle including children and infants. Please note that additional passengers cannot be accommodated without prior notice. Personal belongings are the client’s responsibility, make sure you have all your items when leaving the vehicle. Extra hour 45usd. Cancellations can be made by e-mail or WhatsApp 24hrs before the service date to receive a full refund of any deposit In most cases a refund will be issued within 72 hours. No refunds at last minute cancellations.
