Naturreservat

Den yucatekiska halvön är rik på naturreservat. Förutom sina korallrev och turkosa vatten, som hyser arter som delfiner, havssköldpaddor, valhajar och en mängd olika fiskar, finns det andra ekosystem såsom tropiska regnskogar, mangroveskogar, våtmarker, cenoter och underjordiska grottor.

Dessa livsmiljöer är hem för unika djurarter som jaguarer, opossum, näsbjörnar, spindelapor, vrålapor, krokodiler och en mängd fågelarter, vilket gör denna destination till en ovärderlig pärla för naturälskare. De flesta tjänster som erbjuds i dessa naturområden gynnar direkt lokalsamhällena, då de ofta drivs genom kooperativ av den lokala mayabefolkningen.

P. Laguna is part of the Otoch Maáx Yetel Kooh Natural Area, where you can enjoy multiples activities such as canoeing,  zip lining  over the lagoon, cenote, and guided jungle treks to spot wildlife like spider and howler monkeys

        RIA LAGARTOS

 A BOAT RIDE TO THE HOME OF THE FLAMINGO

Ria Lagartos is home to numerous fauna, beside their  iconic flamingos,  along the tour, we will pass by ¨Las Coloradas," where we can see the salt extraction sites. Later, we can enjoy a rejuvenating Maya mud bath in white clay, known for its mineral properties, finally we will head to a beach on a nearby island, to clean off the clay and swim.

MuyiI had a important role connecting the Caribbean to the inland through its system of canals and lagoons. The boat tour traverses two stunning turquoise water lagoons and navigates through the mangrove channels.  where we  will float along the water stream through the canals

Isla Contoy National Park is considered an important nesting site for seabirds  like frigates, cormorants, and herons among others. With a daily visitor limit of 200 people, fortunate visitors can admire its unspoiled sandy beaches and pristine surroundings. The tour also includes  a 40-minute snorkeling stop at Ixlache Reef, a part of the Mesoamerican Reef system, and an additional hour to explore Isla Mujeres.
